Activities

At the present time, CCI performs the following operating activities: 

• Management and maintenance of risk information files: Badexcug, RAI and judicial information;

• File Management for bank offices, organizations and other banking entities;

• Permanent analysis of the new functionalities of the Editran communications protocol;

• Management of information exchange between residents PNR status;

• Centralized interchange system of Collection of Municipal Tributes;

• Centralized information distribution system for national values;

• Procedure management of the SCNE’s magnetic support resources in exceptional situations;

• Collaboration in the SCNE’s work groups;

• Excess/Deficit of Currency information system management for banking and other deposit entities.

Also, El Centro de Cooperación Interbancaria established work groups to study the following:

• Normalization or transaction loan management contained in agreements with public service organizations: ICO, Ministerio de la Vivienda, MAPA, ICA, etc.;

• Fraud: both generically and related to credit and debit cards;

• Studies on measures related to the prevention of money laundering and financing terrorism;

• Incorporating risk information and other negative as well as positive and cross-border in the managed files;

• Creation of data bases with external banking-related information:  financial states of entities, verification of powers, market information, press releases, etc.;

• Administrative support to “El Grupo de Coordinación de Sistemas de Pago” or Payment Systems Coordination Group that analyzes initiates taken in the scope of the European Union by various groups, such as the European Council, EPC, EBA Clearing, etc.;

• Standardization of data messaging between separate banking entities and between banking entities and their suppliers and clients;

• Standardization of the electronic invoice model between banking, deposit and other related entities;

• Information security;

• Cash management;

• The distribution of international value information;

• The standardization and normalization of operating procedures
